Walter Zapp developed the concept of a camera to be carried with you are all times in 1936. The original Riga model of 1938 evolved into the post war Minox A, B with selenium meter, automatic C and BL with CdS meter and then the LX range in 1978. For more than 50 years it has been associated with espionage, used by researchers, the medical profession and photographers who appreciate a fine mechanical and optic instrument. The design is as functional and fresh today as it was in 1938 even now being over shadowed by the digital revolution of the latter part of the first decade of the 21st Century.
