Bedford J Type Tipper

Bedford lorries were produced by Vauxhall Motors in Luton by their commercial arm. This particular vehicle was bought new in 1966 as an 18th birthday present. It was fitted with a special alloy body to keep the vehicle's gross weight below 3 tonnes to enable it to be driven by an 18 year old. NJ Grose Transport ceased trading in 1997 and Tim Lobb aquired the lorry for restoration.
