This beautiful silver cup was won by my grandmother when she took part in a singing competition in Londonderry Feis in 1923. Later on she became a renowned music teacher. A 'feis' is a traditional Irish arts and cultural event. Today you will find Feis events happening in Ireland and Scotland, as well as throughout the world.
