Free Trade Union Meeting Invite Card

A 1913 Free Trade Union Meeting Invite Card. The meeting was attended by The Right Hon, Sir John Simon KC, MP and was Chaired by Colonel John M. Denny. It took place at the City Halls, Candleriggs, Glasgow and was open to 'Gentlemen Only'. Sir John Simon held the posts of Solicitor General, Attorney General, Home Secretary, Foreign Secretary and Chancellor of the Exchequer. Property of Robert Pool
