My Great Grandads Medal and Badge

This medal is called the Victory Medal. It was awarded to my Great Grandad for his service in WW1. He was a sniper in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment.

The medals remind me of how selfless my Great Grandfather was and that he left everything behind to fight for his country. It also makes me feel sad as there must have been other soldiers with my Great Grandad that didn't receive one of these medals because they were killed.
