Broken fragments from a grave-slab have been used to block an old doorway in South wall of the Church.
The fragment on the left has the letters CAILLI.
The stone to the right has a Crest with a Stag's head, a skull and crossbones and the letters NDH SPVOS.
The Stag's head could mean that the stone originally belonged to a Mackenzie grave and that it may date from the 17th century when the skull and crossbones were widely used on memorials.
There are 2 fragments of stone above these on which one is carved with an A shaped mason's mark. These pieces do not appear to be part of the same grave slab as the lower one.
