Autographs of the astronauts

A chance meeting with a busload of future american astronauts in the outback of Iceland in 1965 was a perfect opportunity for autographs. I was 14, travelling with my family - and we were starstruck. It is addressed to me - and this small piece of paper was a great treasure. The exotic foreigners were very kind and polite to us children. In the coming years news of space travel and the accidents that befell the young men always brought this memory back.
