This hut was pulled by a steam roller doing road repairs. Made in 1920 by Aveling and Porter in Rochester. It was used as a place to sleep for the engine driver and his co worker as they travelled all round the county moving on from job to job. Lots of the workers came from around Somerset. Alan Sparkes bought it in 1975 from a shepherd in North Wales who had used it for lambing. It was in a sorry state but he has now fully restored it. It is made of wood with cast steel wheels.
