Ogmore Valley Warship Week Poster

This poster for the 1942 Warship Week was evidently very successful in it`s aim to raise £50,000 for the Ogmore Valley to adopt HMS Quannet, which was actually a Boom laying ship used to protect harbors (mainly on the African coast) against mines.

The residents of the Valley surpassed the target by so much that they also sponsored a Motor Torpedo Boat.
