A large sculptured boulder of local granite showing the engraved peaks of Croft and Huncote and those of Stoney Stanton and Sapcote in high relief. Although only half of Croft hill remains today.
Also featured is the river Soar from its source at Stretton Baskerville, and another headwater at Copston Magna - no roads or Settlements are featured. First mentioned in ancient documents and maps.
It weighs approximately 2 hundredweights and came from a Bronze Age site.
