Bought the Brooch in an antique fair, in 1988; took it to the Antiques Road show held at Chatsworth House on 08 July 2010, and it was seen by the jewellery specialist, I think Geoffrey??, who said that it is a Bronze age spearhead, and it has been converted to a Brooch, in 17 Century, when the gold parts have been mounted on it. There is a hallmark but it was not read at the AR.
