A 1953 hand made snooker cue by Glasgow's leading Billiard Table manufacturer. H. Nelmes & Co were located in Wellington Street from the 1870's until the late 1940's, when they then moved to West George Street, Glasgow. In 1881 H. Nelmes & Co advertised that they had the pleasure of informing the public that they were the makers of the Celebrated Billiard Table that W. Cook of London made the largest all-round break on that has ever been made, being 261 without 2 consecutive spot strokes. Snooker and Billiard items made by this company are highly sought after today. Property of Robert Pool
