The water cycle
Description
An explanation of each stage of the water cycle. When the Sun shines, water evaporates and rises. As the water vapour reaches a certain altitude, it condenses to form clouds and precipitation occurs. This precipitation then feeds the oceans and land below, which allows the cycle to begin again.
Classroom Ideas
Children could watch this as a visual reinforcement after the water cycle has been explained. The teacher could show the children the clip without the sound and ask them to write their own voiceover about each stage of the water cycle. The clip could then be played back with the children narrating their own explanation.
