Have you all recovered from Lord Sugar's shock double firing? Followers of the

Twitter feed and Facebook were stunned by the twist at the end of the pet food task, with many probably bearing the same wide-eyed expression as that furless cat that was paraded in the CatSize advert auditions!

TotalCheryl succinctly summed up the general response: Former candidate ApprenticePhil yelped:

Many felt that cosmetics king Vincent was on borrowed time, with TheGinBoy tweeting: . Emma Norman added: , while Ched44 laughed at his early suggestion for a new dog food product:

Yet there was some sympathy for the man who coined the world's worst app-le pun. Dangermouuuuse explained that he . Ah yes, Jedi Jim. His powers stretched to cyberspace too, with his new nickname trending worldwide on Twitter during the show. Some folks abroad must be thinking that 'Jedi Jim' is some kind of new Star Wars spinoff like the recent Clone Wars cartoon. If only they could feel the real force...

gushed Carole Pennell, referring to the tense showdown in the Death Star boardroom. admitted Donna Walker. However, many of his fans are still backing the self-professed 'Irish bulldozer of charm' to go all the way. joked Andy Mcgowan. Well, we assume it's a joke – but given his boardroom escape you never know!

Although the unexpected firing of Vincent overshadowed the earlier dismissal of Ellie, there was some sympathy for the Northern lass. barked sm_ritchie. stated Deepa Mulye.

The episode also contained a couple of classic 'blink and miss' moments. Did anyone notice the little pooch mesmerised by Nick Hewer on the stairs? It's not just the human population who are transfixed by Lord Sugar's eyebrow-raising adviser! D0mz asked: OfficialEDG echoed his question:

Did you spot this epic moment of pure cringe? If so, then you're luckier than one of those 'Lucky Fish' that Leon wanted on the diet of every cat in town. (Surely the cat is the lucky one not the fish?) If not, then it's well worth checking out the episode on ´óÏó´«Ã½ iPlayer and heading to the 28:12 mark. Remember to moisturise afterwards as extreme cringing can lead to wrinkles.

Let us know what you think about the ill-fated high-five, the double firing and whether you saw the light on CatSize or Every Dog…

Knew from the first few minutes the cats would win. Was really disappointed how the food for doggies looked like and honestly, as an owner of a cat, I would not buy anything what is for EVERY cat (less dog lol), maybe if it would be Every Dog Star or something like that, it would sound better.
Vincent tried a cheap tactick, didn't work out. Jim gave Lord Sugar the brains, now he needs to give him the b... :)

BTW, if in a near future a new member appears in the game, it will be as twisted as Spanish Big Brother. In a sence of twists, of course :)

it seems like SAS has something against Jim. i dont get it, the programme on Tuesday purely focused on attacking Jim. He is my favourite candidate, he has shown that he pulls his weight when it mattered...for eg, to be able to buy all the vegetables for £40, he did well on Leon's task and so forth. All he did was to suggest EveryDog. he didn't push to take that brand. The subteam was against it and Tom was abs. right about using Every wont be a wise move, but the one who made the judgement was Vincent, not Jim. It is not Jim's fault if Vincent worships him.
I am sure many of you who read this comment would agree that Jim has been the most consistent performer in this series (and to some extend Melody), so why SAS, Brady and Nick are so against him, is beyond my understanding.
maybe SAS thinks he monopolies the crowd at home, so no one makes judgement against him, and when Leon wanted to bring Jim back to the boardroom (this is 2nd week and I havent had my choice of fav. candidate as yet), i thought he made a wrong decision as Jim performed, unlike the likes of Eilee or Natasha.
it wasnt fair as well for natasha to tell to jim, what he said or how he managed to convince Vincent not to bring him in and jim's retaliation was good.
somehow this series now isnt about getting a job /partnership with SAS - its more about b1tching and ganging against someone who has been performing.

I think that Sugar has it in for Jim because he stands up to him. The others bow down to his Lordship. I hope Jim wins but with Lord Sugar & his advisers against him it doesn`t look good.

Glenn didnt impress as a PM however his Catsize idea was a really good one and I disagree with Alan, their ad was much better than the other team's

Hi deeram11 - what impressed you about the Catsize product and ad?

  • Comment number 7.

I liked the concept of catsize and I thought the ad was standard but fun and slick, I would have bought it for my cat
