Interesting Stuff 2008-12-22
In case you missed it, there was a somewhat significant ´óÏó´«Ã½ iPlayer upgrade released last week.
Some users struggled to get the BETA software working, so the ´óÏó´«Ã½'s James Cridland . Along the same lines, Tony Hirst , complete with some decent screenshots of it in action.
Overall reaction to the new iPlayer has been good, although 's Kelly Fiveash :
This time last year the ´óÏó´«Ã½ finally responded to demands for the service to be made available to everyone in the UK by offering a Flash-based version of iPlayer.
But it's taken the Corporation 18 months to release a desktop version of iPlayer, which many will doubtless view as a bit of a poor show."

Project Kangaroo is reportedly . The Guardian reports that Kangaroo has "offered to scrap plans to jointly sell catch-up and archive shows to rivals".

For us, 2008 really has been the year of ´óÏó´«Ã½ iPlayer, HD and, randomly enough, plenty of Strictly Come Dancing. Who knows what will be the hot topics this time next year. Here's to 2009!

I am going through the throws of finding a logo for my website and do not quite have the resources the ´óÏó´«Ã½ has ! This means going through dozens of logo designers that I can afford and in all honesty none have came back as any good yet, probably designed on basic logo programs. :(
