I didn't entirely get the anger. It was amusing for us seeing her there, but he didn't put he picture there, did he? Hadn't it been there on the board for a while? He just.. what... showed it to her?

I'm wondering about the janitor now, not so much in that he's the killer, but maybe he knows something. After all he is everywhere and maybe he saw something that's a big clue in what happened to Matt and he hasn't realised it's evidence to murder. Or maybe he knows exactly what he saw and is blackmailing the culprit, or just covering up for them for some unknown reason.

The acting was a little dodgy, she looked more amused than angry. Sounded like Adam was laughing too, though, so I won't judge :')

She is an amazing actor in the actual episodes, soo.

Curious about "the others" Christa mentioned, maybe the fact that she changed so dramatically wasn't just down to becoming a WW? I know I changed quite alot due to rubbish that people said to me in high school....

11. You're right, her acting is great in the episodes and I think that maybe it's not bad at all acting after re-watching again. I think it was that at first Christa was annoyed but the way she was saying it's not funny was in that half joking kind of way when your friends are teasing you but you know it's harmless. She only got really angry and stormed off when Adam said 'Everyone finds it funny.' He may have meant it as an off-hand comment, but if Christa has had to deal with a lot of the kids talking behind her back and whatever she could take that he meant he's shown it to people and laughed at her behind her back.

Plus this is a vid Adam is shooting on his phone so Christa the character might be a little nervous whereas in the eps it's as if we're there in the room with them and it's not being filmed if you get what I'm saying.

I don't think that was bad acting... I think she was smiling on purpose, out of disbelief, like being sarcastic.

That was brilliant i was just wondering why there was nobody around then the janitor makes the best appearance at the end just mopping the floor. I cant believe i actually laughed when i seen him though.

ok its been a while since i was at school (like 14 years!!!!), so I googled a few schools with 6th forms. All of them without fail are open for various after school clubs, sports activities (martial arts, football clubs etc) until around 8-9pm. The 6th form librarys and common rooms were also open for study in most of them until 8pm. Colleges were often all fully open until 11pm with night classes etc, but i discounted those as this is a school 6th form.

Just food for thought as to why it seems that the school is so often empty of students. It also explains why christa appears to be transforming in the school sports hall.

I'm usually a lurker here on the blog and I only ever posted one comment or two, but this is getting more and more itneresting. I hadn't noticed the janitor before, so thanks to all of you that pointed out the fact that there's a janitor in almost every clue they uploaded. This certainly must mean something! I agree with Gempire (10), he must've seen something the day Matt died.

Maybe when Christa says "we've been so stupid" (in next episode's preview) she could be realising how stupid they've been in not thinking about the janitor as a witness/suspect...

Also, imho those words "You're like the rest of them" can only mean that she really likes Adam, so she thought he was different from the other people making fun of her for the fact she's changed so much. Or maybe I'm just reading too much into this lol

Well being the "good girl" for many a year and still am (kind of I've changed A LOT in the past few months) I understand that it CAN get a bit embarressing when someone points it out. I hate when pictures of me go up on the screen.

I think that Adams reactions to the "dorks" (e.g. all the high achievers) is probably a standard reaction of the rest of the school.

It points to Christa being a bit of a social outcast or at least not part of the "in" crowd from the beginning. Add that to an obviously traumatic breakup with a boy (first boyfriend? and linked to the WW infection? ~please let it be tom from BH), becoming a WW and a new persona. She is suddenly going to be a very confused, angry, and lonely teenager. The few friends she had were probably geeks too, and will they want to continue a friendship with the new grungey "shit happens" version of Christa? Not likely.

She finally had someone she could begin to trust again, someone who knew about her secrets no matter how much she denied it and who accepted her as she was, someone who had just as much of a reason to keep her secret and who also had some level of understanding... only to go and blow her trust by behaving just like the other kids in the school.

Gotta admit it must be harsh being Christa. Adam has had 30 years to accept his condition, christa has had a few months.

Oh another thing that came to mind when one of you said that it is probably because she is so close to the full moon for the anger.

She is a teenager so she will be going through all the regular things and unfortunate mishaps that are magnified by the fact she is a teenager PLUS she is a girl and she does have the mood swings and "monthly" problems and now with ANOTHER "monthly" problem that she now has to deal with.

No wonder why she is annoyed and angry at her only "friend" turning on her like all the other ASBOs in waiting

I think this is one of the first times we've seen Christa without a coat. Could be that she feels relaxed enough around him to wear less layers, as I think they're like a barrier between her and the rest of the world. She trust him a bit more now.

I think you are right. After she first changed then I think she seen herself alone so she kept to herself and kept, as you said, a barrier between her and the rest of the world but because of how much time she has spent with Adam and that they have all gotten closer and she trusts him and now HE HAS BLOWN IT.

She has only ever worn that too-big-for-her coat and now shes feeling comfortable enough to be around adam without her 'shield' and he takes the piss out of her.

Well, i often find that if i'm shocked or lost for words i often find that my mouth has curled up into a smile of its own accord so i thought that it was very well acted. Another reason Christa could be upset and not the liking Adam part more the fact he knows her big secret and she is getting close to accepting it herself, the fact he wont let go of her lycanthropic secret but mentions it less leaving her time and space to live with it.

The fact he waved her past in her face saying look at you. The fact he knows could scare her back into the shell of not accepting what's happened to her.

50. good point, i guess whether she fancies him is open to interpretation but it's true that e was making her trust him by accepting what he was. I doubt he was deliberately trying to hurt her though, he may be 46 (or something like that :S) but bear in mind he's just stayed at home with his parents (or so it seems)since he was around 16, so he still has the social skills of a 16-year-old idiot boy.
I hope it isn't going to stop him from trusting her completely, it's nice for her to have someone who knows.

26, You do have a point that Christa seemed surprised that Adam had the pic and if we go off the evidence from ep 1 that notice board is right by her locker. But if you look at all the pictures they look like You're regular official school pics. So maybe the school decided to do this achievemnet thing fairly recently and are using the photos from last picture day.

So it could be an old photo but newly put up. Plus all the photos look to be in the same condition and you'd expect some fading if one had been up longer than another.

It could be the last photo she had done before she got turned and Adam making fun of it is not what she needs.

I think Adam is that slightly geeky kid who thinks he's cool so he acts how he thinks the cool kids would act even if it means hurting his friends. Most of what he comes out with is trying too hard to be popular rather than realising that having one or two good friends is better than being the popular kid everyone secretly hates.

He's really hurt Christa with this and he has a lot o making up to do.

81 - (just realised I'm practically having a conversation with you about this rather than it being a full on blog) Yeah a lot of people have pushed people (me!) away because they think they are funny. Adam may be mentally 16 but that doesn'r mean he can learn to grow up at the correct times. If he had said "when did you get that pupil of the month thing and what did you do to get it?" then I think she wouldn't have been so angry at him and Adam would have saved himself a beating.

Keeping with the ice metaphor, I think Christa was starting to thaw a little to Adam and Matt but Adam just sent her right back into the iceage with the way he revealed his knowledg of the photo. Even if he did do it in a laughing manner it probs wouldn't have been so bad if he wasn't filming it too.

90 - You like the ice thing don't you? but the laughing manner would have had a lot to do with it because, since I feel like I'm quite similar to Crista (minus one thing), she might take this stuff quite seriously and the filming it just added to the list of things that annoy her.

how weird would it be if christa went out with matt just annoy adam? i think christa should get together with adam but then what would happen to matt? adam should be trying to make it all better with christa because it is nearly the full moon and who knows what could happen then? if adam and christa did get together where would it go? i don't think adam knows much about women. he should go easy on christa she is clearly worried about the transformation. and doesn't know much about it. i think we should she a more vunerable side to her because all she has done is shut people out. who thinks christa should be with adam?

With regards to what will Adam and Christa do when Matt moves on:
Thinking along the storylines of BH, when Annie decided to stay.... Is it possible that either the woman vamp (forgot her name - her from gavin and stacey) who attends the "dog fights" either attacks christa (simply for being a WW), or Adam (for shunning her way of life). Matt may either save christa and so move on, OR the door may already have come and he decides to stay to save adam/christa.

In fact, could matts death be linked to her in one way or another?. The hubby was a carpet salesman who travelled the uk, could he have been intending to groom matt (a loner and wouldnt really be missed by many people - thought of as a runaway), into becoming the next living blood bank?

OK OK I know, totally far fetched, but i enjoyed it!

97 - It certainly has a possibility and would tie in with the main series. But also consider when is this taking place because it's not the same timline as Being Human. So Roger?? could still be alive, not having been ripped apart by McNair yet. The couple could turn up to claim Matt as their nest blood bank since they killed the currant when Adam left them, only to find out he's dead.

That would add an interesting new dynaamic we don't have time for in 5min eps.
