Playlist 7 April
Yet again I offer apologies for the tardiness of this blog but I have been away punk rocking with my Undertone chums, playing the variety shows of England. (Yes they do have computers in England. Are you trying to say something ?) Coincidentally, tonight's list includes the work of my current/former team mates John and Damian O'Neill , wearing their That Petrol Emotion jumpers. Another record has a reference to a character in the 1961 film 'A Taste Of Honey'. I won't tell you which song has the connection but you don't need to be Barry Norman to spot it.Ìý What else ? Oh, a Ramones song to mark the tenth anniversary of Joey's death. I know its the fifteenth of this month but I thought I'd get in early. More Ramoning next week. Which is now this week. Point taken.
X Ray Spex - I Am A Poseur

The Middle Class - Situations
Television Personalities - Geoffrey Ingram

Both the Scottish shows were brilliant, quite possibly the best I've seen the band play (saw you for the first time in '83 when I was 17 and many times since). Your comment about in Edinburgh about the show being cut short because you'd left a chicken in the oven had me in stitches. Enjoying your blog posts too - long may they continue.
