And The Award For 'Wrongest Brits Story' Goes To...
Just in case any of you read ChartBlog's 'hilarious' pretend-tabloid Jessica Ree account of the TV coverage of the Brits (it's here, if you don't know what I'm on about) and thought to yourself "Hey, come on! No-one's THAT dim...", look at this. It's taken from the free newspaper London Lite , which is available from all good tube stations in the nation's capital (or, as Jessica herself would call it 'London's trendy London').
Can you spot what they've done wrong there?
That's right. The picture this story is based on, the story about how loudly Mika was singing at the Cuckoo Club, is a picture of Jon, out of the Fratellis. And the reason Jon Fratelli is singing probably has something to do with the fact that his band have just won a Brit award.
But it's not REAL fame, is it Jon? Not like that Mika, eh?
PS: Apologies to London Lite for the smugness. We are none of us perfect. And it is a damn sight easier to correct mistakes on a blog or website than it is to corrent mistakes in print. Plus they get super-extra-points for making me laugh out loud in a crowded tube carriage.
PPS: I'm fairly sure Noel and Liam are very happy at the thought they are harder than Mika. I don't think they're the type to be jealous of people who are softer than they are, are they?
