From the moment the bassline and the chorus kick in, you can't help but give this song props for making you nod your head, or at least tap your foot, if you're in polite company.

Don't be put off by the "lovey dovey, kiss kiss" hook either, we're not in Holly Valance territory, and the song is a edgier than the title suggests. Yes, I know the lyrics are full of braggadocio but to be honest, surely Chris Brown has a right to be a bit cocky now that he's taken up permanent residence in the charts?

Whether that means he can get away with a line like "I'm the king so that means I'm fly" is a whole other thing. Kings can't fly, any more than flies can king. Duh!

Anyway, just when you think it can't get better, who pops up? It's only T-Pain! He certainly ups the energy levels, adding to the frantic pace of the song and stamping his authority all over the place. I like to think of him as the McDonald's of Hip-Hop. He's everywhere; he's a quick fix and you know you shouldn't love it but you do.

(He also produced the song, which does give him the right to start yelling over the top, to be fair.)

For those more familiar with Chris brown's poppier outings of late, 'Kiss Kiss' is a return to his R&B roots. Anyone expecting a slushy romantic ballad is in for a surprise because this is a fast paced, slickly produced R&B banger (and yes, I am qualified to use the word 'banger'. I've got a certificate and everything).

While the lyrics will hardly blow you away, the song can't help but draw you in. And even though it might not be as commercial as 'Forever' in my opinion it is one of the best things either of these gents has put their name to, and as you know, that's a lot of things!

And while you chew on all that, I'll be eating a Big Mac, or is it listening to one..?
