How To Destroy Razorlight

NOTE: I know, I know...I did it before, and with another album cover too...

But c'mon, who but Razorlight would be so lacking in self-consciousness as to fail to spot the gag? They're all being lit from behind, in a moody, dramatic way, a way which highlights the loveliness of their long hair, and suggests that light does actually shine out of their very skins...

...and one of them has a head the shape of a lightbulb.

Prrrrrm-TISH!

How To Destroy Other People...

Alright Fraser, stop. This is the most pointless blog on the internet. Week after week: Comments (0). They're just not funny. Cease and desist.

    Jimmysavillescigar:

Just because a blog post doesn't get comments doesn't mean people don't find it funny. I find it funny a lot of the time, but I don't always comment.

And what are you doing looking at it week after week, if you don't like it?

  • Comment number 3.

Well, y'know, I WAS going to give up...

But seeing as you spend so much time reading the blog, Mr Cigar, how could I deprive you?

What else is your license fee for?

  • Comment number 4.

jimmysavillescigar - if you don't like this blog, go somewhere else. There's plenty too choose from and I guess when you've got that many opinions they deserve to be shared.

  • Comment number 5.

I like how it looks like the look on the guy's face changes when you turn up the light on him. First he looks all moody, but then he looks frightened! He must usually be at the back in the dark.

  • Comment number 6.

Okay, catman231 - what are you talking about? "That many opinions"...I expressed one - that this blog isn't funny. RachelS - granted, the abscence of comments doesn't mean the blog isn't funny, but it's usually a pretty good indicator. There are exceptions, but seriously, none of these are remotely funny. If you think they are, well then you're an idiot, and frankly, I pity you. Finally, Fraser, stick to your guns mate, and quit. Not everyone can do comedy, it's no shame admitting that this hasn't really worked out. But don't give me any of that licence fee rubbish. I am a great admirer of the ´óÏó´«Ã½, and don't mind paying the licence fee. Doesn't mean people like you should start goading your readers about the fact that we pay your wages, it's a pathetic attempt at comedy, but i thnk we've already covered this area... Anyway, i'll be back for the next one - "why?" you ask - well because frankly, i want to know how bad they can get, and am waiting for the day this section gets cancelled so i can rejoice. Creating is fun, but watching others crash and burn is almost as heartening. Why not do both? Cheerio x

  • Comment number 7.

You're creating something? Cool! What is it?

Sorry about the license fee thing. You're right, goading people is nasty.

  • Comment number 8.

There are far worse things that come out of the license fee anyway!

You shouldn't appologise, he was a jerk first.

  • Comment number 9.

Thank you for your compassion, jimmysavillescigar... but if I am an idiot for finding these things funny, well, it feels ok to me, so I'm not sure pity is really necessary. Anyway, the licence fee is meant to serve everyone, so claiming that something pleases only idiots is no argument against it, even if it were true!

"Creating is fun, but watching others crash and burn is almost as heartening." Hmmm... you think? I don't find that to be the case... oh well, I'm afraid you'll have to go elsewhere for that pleasure, as you won't get it here.

  • Comment number 10.

Oh dear, you seem to have missed the point Rachel. Fraser raised the licence fee issue, i never said this blog wasn't worth it, just that if i express an opinion on the merits of this blog I shouldn't have a ´óÏó´«Ã½ employee goading me over the fact that i contribute towards his wages. Fraser seems to express an admirable amount of contrition over this. Cinderellacomplex, you're right, there are worse things to come out of the licence fee. AIDS is also worse than Chlamydia, does that mean you should put up with having Chlamydia?
