TAKE THAT AND PARTY.
Can you believe it ? The wife and I and two pals of ours are off this evening to see...
... the boys.
Er, I'm not quite sure why, because I love my wife - one reason and because, to be honest, it's probably going to be a right laugh.
Isn't it ?
I just asked naughty Nick did he want to come as we had a spare ticket and he jumped at the chance.
Everyone is loving Take That.
To think a couple of years ago Howard andJason and little Mark were lamenting what might have been, the time when they had the chance to make good the rest of their lives and then for some reason, slap bang in the middle of it all they decided to split up, not realising that the real world was waiting outside to eat them up.
And cue the second chance. Have you seen them pause for breath since they got back together ? Not for a second - don't blame them, me neither.
Let's just be good and greatful.
have a cracking weekend.

Lucky, lucky you Chris I would love to have seen Take That.
I know that I'm off to see the Spice Girls next year but I'm kinda thinking that Take That just may have been the better gig of the two.
Well, you say never go back but they are proof that sometimes it's worth the gamble.
Have good weekends all
Lots of Love

Chris,
I love Take That - they are bloody brilliant! Chris, you will find tonight anything BUT a right laugh. I predict you will be completely gobsmacked at the talent you are about to witness. Have a fantastic time and try to understand when Natasha tries to re-assure you that yes, she does love you, but WHOA, what about Gary Barlow????!!!!

Chris,
Please can you tell us the name of your pub in Surrey so next time we visit friends in Guildford we can make a booking please.
Happy Crimbo to you all Love the show.
Oaft,
I'd love to see take that.
You will actually find me in Electrical Stores, standing dooling in front of the TV screens should their video be on.
And Mr Barlow... wowser. What did he do to himself. What inspiration, I just look at him now, and I dive out the door and have a wee run up and down the street.
Anyways, i tried to get tickets, and my boss didn't want me to be on the phone any more. ...... i was wasting good working time! ha ha ha ha ha
I'm thinking you should give us the ability to post pictures on the blog.
I want to open a evening cafe. Specifically for the kids in our town. I hate to see them wandering round the streets at night with no where to go. When I discussed it with my husband he said, that there would be one or two who wouldn't appreciate it, and cause trouble, I'd have to throw them out and it would become the cool thing to throw them out. Do you think I should pursue the idea? Or do you think I may commit mass murder if I did?

Chris
Have a terrific time, I'm sure the lads will put on a good show.
I was never a 'Takey' (probably just right, I think), but I went to Jonathan Ross a couple of years ago and they were on. They came across a nice chaps, but you should have heard the language between takes! JR has a gutter-mouth, but one or two TTers gave him a run!
Juliet. Head for The Mulberry on the road to Petworth and you can't go wrong.
Be nice to see you at the club, CLP, it's been a while.
Love to all

Juliet, I believe it's called the Mulberry Tree. If I'm wrong and anyone can correct me please do
Getting ready for the Jungle Final, I'm sad I know! Biggins to be Queen of the Jungle daaarlings.....xx

Have a great time tonight Chris.
Unfortunately and not through lack of trying I couldn't get tickets to any of this year's concerts. I have had the pleasure of seeing the boys live twice. Once in 1995 and again last year and in my opinion they were even better the second time around. No one puts on a live show like they do. You don't have to be a TT fan to get tingles down your spine when everyone has their hands in the air during Never Forget.
Enjoy!
Au Revoir
PS After reading the blog for about a year that was my first post.
Hi Christophe
Have a good time - sure you will.
Relight my fire.......

My last post may have got through.
Or, it may have not.
Such is life.
And, speaking of life, I've just worked mine out.
I finished school at 18ish after doing A levels and spent the following 6 or 7 years in a mixture of doing jobs to pay for beer and studying for an HND.
Then I got a job.
And, I haven't done too badly.
But.
I missed out on a bunch of things, mainly living alone.
Which, explains my current obsession with collecting gadgets and driving fast cars.
I'm in a time warp.
Suddenly, it all makes sense.
I'm just waiting for acne and a skateboard.
Peace & love
MfR
Without wishing to hog the house,
Huge love to Evel Knievel.
You made my childhood worth living.
Pinging you around, from the top of the stairs, over the bannisters. Skidding around the kitchen floor, and all in that Elvis-styley jump-suit.
Sleep well bud.

have a great weeknd one and all, be good x

Mornin all - white rabbits and all that.
Christophe you kept me company through the most horrendous drive home last night. Flooded roads and abandoned cars made my normal hour and a bit drive over 2 hours. Biblical rain! Anyhow, I hope you enjoyed TT - so jealous. I'd love to see them. When they first got back together I heard an interview with them and they were asked 'So, everyone said you couldn't manage without Rob - didn't they' to which they replied - 'Yeah and we believed them'. So well done lads for proving the naysayers wrong. And didn't they look gorgeous in the M&S ads - M&S seemingly can do no wrong in the advertising department at the moment. Starting to ramble so will shut up. Have a great weekend all. xx
It is time to transform the 'gobsmackers' into....
'The Christmas Crackers'!
And, I'll kick off.
'Christmas is coming' by The Payolas
'Merry Christmas (I don't want to fight) by The Ramones
Over to you, CLP.

Just before Coronation Street one and all
I was looking at the link to the car factory everyone was talking about. Wow, it reminded me of the film Coma.
I wonder if Schumaker is in suspended animation till his next race in 2095.
Question. Would Mozart have won the X Factor? Probably not as he was not good looking enough............ I wish the music industry would start selling music not image.
Christoff Lambie Pie.
For pity's sake take that picture of that creosoted budgie off the website, it's knockin' me sick.
I'm just back from me hen party at Newbury Races and me mush looks disturbingly similar, not to mention me mouth that's like the bottom of its cage and a head that feels like said budgie's still in there, sparrin' with its bouncy-backy mate.
Talkin' of which. Budgies. It's not good news bein' a budgie is it. My old Grandma (the mad one) hated ours and used to leave the cage door and the front window open on a regular basis, but the thing wouldn't come out. Just used to sit there glarin' lividly at Grandma and shoutin' obscenities. Funny enough me Granddad was the same; 'e'd a sidestep to challenge Jason Robinson when 'e fancied a night in the pub and 'ad to get past Grandma first.
Anyway imagine. You spend your day in a cage with a shower cap underneath it, not to mention a Yorkshire Terrier, with a scaldy swing, a bucket of water, a rubber effigy you can't knock down and a bloody mirror with a bell on it. Now that's not cricket. There's plenty times I'VE wanted to head-butt my reflection in a morning; imagine seein' THAT sight starin' back at yous when you can't hold yer mascara properly and the lipgloss slides off yer beak.
Not funny. I'm not comin' back in me next life as one of them boys. Oh no.
Right. Where's me milk thistle. Ere. Claire. Whose liver you callin' lazy, mine's bin doin' overtime on the nightshift since Thursday and threatenin' to picket me kidneys if there's any more shite comin' down the conveyor belt.
Brrrp. Oops. Pardon me.

I saw Take That in '94 when I was 10 and they were fab but I wouldn't bother seeing them now. No Robbie, no point. But enjoy. I think Sophie EB is supporting and I love her (not her music but her style). Comments on the shoes she wore would be appreciated.
EmmaT - welcome.
Clodagh - I think you should write your memoirs; they would be hilarious. A bestseller without doubt.

Lucky Mrs E, I wish my hubby would take me to see Take That, but i have to say, Jason's always been the one for me!
Belated happy b'day Hazel, hope you had a great day.

Morning - oh CLP you are SOOOOO lucky, I would love to see Take That. I bet it was fan-blooming-tastic.
Bingo, I saw top gear too. Have to say that altho I really don't like James Blunt's music, I thought he came across as a really nice bloke - he was funny wasn't he? In fact, he reminded me of Alan Partridge. Am very tempted to put myself up on e-bay now, it worked for his sister ...!!!
Still don't like Lewis. Don't know what it is, I just can't warm to him. But he did good.
Hope everyone is ok, 3 weeks tomorrow is Crimble!!
xx
Morning all
How are you all today, hope you had a good weekend. Rubbish weather both days and now look at it, glorious sunshine!
I think that I'm coming down with the dreaded lurgey, feel a bit rough today. I simply don't have time to be ill, very frustrating.
The company that I used to work for have invited me to their Christmas Party on Friday and I have been so looking forward to it. I really hope that I'm not ill and can't go. I would be heartbroken. Totally devastated, I miss them all so much.
Mr Debbie discovered last night that the eldest has run up a mobile phone bill of £350 in one month. He is on a contract (in Mr Debbie's name) which I said was a bad idea. If we want to end the contract it was cost £300 on top of the existing bill. Really can't afford this so he is keeping the phone and is in the doghouse at the moment. Happy days!
Love
Debbie xx
PS, looking forward to the Taurus reading Bingo x
Elm. Yes hurrah the races were fab, despite Hurricane Hilda that nearly took me Carmen Miranda number clean off me head, leavin' me like Amy Winehouse's granny, and me gait like summat that's battery's goin' flat on account of holdin' on to me racecard, me champagne and me skirt in daft shoes and thus doin' a sterling job aeratin' the paddock whilst tryin' to find the scaldiest lookin' jockey to back.
Always back the ugliest jockey, girls. 'Is 'orse will try harder to get away from 'im. Mind you that doesn't explain Frankie Dettori's success does it, I'd kiss 'im to death bless 'im. Well, I would if I could catch 'im.
So yes. Get yourself to the races, sunshine, it's fab. But do go in a group if you can, if there's only 2 of you you're less likely to get into serious trouble and that's no fun is it. My glamorous friend got arrested once after York Races for stealin' a moped and free-wheelin' it down the street whilst wearin' no knickers. The Sergeant told me later that she wouldn't have bin' arrested if she hadn't failed the attitude test; but anyway it was a historic moment in time to be woken at 6am by a scrubbin' brush flyin' in the hotel window and lookin' out to see her scalin' the fire escape, still in 'er 'at, wavin' her Official Caution and with 'er contact lenses in a plastic cup.
Happy Days.
Sugar lumps.

Take That? Oh dear. Tedious beyond belief.
Hey Coops .... variety is the spice of life. Live and let live man!
This Wednesday night I will be moshing with Marilyn Manson and then on Friday I will be throwing shapes with Take That.
Can't wait!!

Yo dudes and dudettes, big chief blogger and all bloggees, all good from here - calling you from Bermuda - As the guy holding the first ever CD said "Is this a record??"
Monday morning sunshine shorts & t-shirt, 20 degs and it feels like July.
Golf was good, Red, thanks, hopefully the beach will be hit in the afternoon, the place is coming down with stunning bays, my friends lives 5 min scooter trip from Horseshoe Beach, which is abso beautiful.
Lots of Irish, Canadian and English ex-Pats working here in Accounting - tax-free haven, Colonial, really clean, friendly and stunning weather. Catherine Zeta & hubby are the best known residents here - Mr. Douglas' mother apparently started the Bank of Bermuda here, then he goes and makes a $200m fortune in acting - nice one Mickey Boy.
Really top-notch life here - only drawback is its so small, you see the same people out all the time in the same few bars, which is ok if you like that kind of thing . .!
So, whos the guy leaving TG - cant be JC, it wouldnt be the same without him - probably the Hamster - he's getting loads of offers, these days , I'm sure - shouldnt be allowed to go. ´óÏó´«Ã½ America shows Top Gear here and the critics rave about it - one of the funniest shows on, they say - the guys could make a fortune on the transfer market . .
Anyway, blog you later, guys, there's a Rum Swizzle awaiting with my name on it . .
