Today I signed my second confidentiality agreement of the week...
...but what do they actually mean ?
Am I not allowed to say anything at all about "the thing?"
Am I not permitted to say anything about it even to my wife. What do I do if she asks what I was up to today before I came here to the Beeb ? Do I just shrug my shoulders like an impertinent schoolboy. She may suspect an affair for heaven's sake !
And here's the thing, I know other people who have signed the same agreement and I also know that some of those other people have already "squealed" about whatever it is.
So if anything gets out, will I be up before yee old beak? 'Cos let me tell you, me and judges don't get on. Well at least not last time anyhow.

If you leave the letter on the kitchen table and go out of the room the person who will see the letter and may just glance at it,try looking at writing and not reading something it is inposible the eyes are going to sent info to the brain so it's not your fault some one else read the letter.
Chris, I know alot of the proceeds go to charity but any chance you could tell the staff in your Petworth Road establishment to wipe the food off the walls. I love the food but just on the plate. Wouldn't take a jiffy. Thanks & Cheers.

Me dentist said "your teeth are terrible wot have you been doing to them?"
I said " ave only been taking yer advice ter floss".
Dentist said "floss, you couldn't have they look awful".
I said "na, 'onestly ave been flossing me tooths daily with candy floss"!!!!!!!!

Hi Chris, It might have been a good idea not to have written anything about "the thing" as you will have everyone trying to get you to tell them what it is!
Its so hard to keep secrets from you wife or husband when you are close, and I bet you will find it really hard not to tell her, so good luck!!

Big Chief CLP can't say a thing about the coup of the century - where he bought Virgin and sold it for a mint, on the back of it was the proud home of Big Chief CLP . . . absolutely, definately and without a shadow of a doubt, one of the best business deals of the 21st Century . . hats off, Mr. Moneymaker.!! And, while we're on the subject . . .why is the telly so bad on a Wed nite - do the planners realise that its hump day and everyone will be whiling away the tedium with a glass of vino or two, ergo whats the point . .??
Going on ANOTHER first date tomorrow - oh my G , the second in six months - cinema date I think - lets get tips here for the modern man, of a handsome 34 yrs - what are the big no-no's and the big yes-YES's for a first date - I think we're for the cinema to watch Tommy Lee Jones - No Country for old Men - any advice please, ladies . . .

What a show! Some good and some bad. Please though why do we have to have lady media people in game show fashion presenting though? Fern Britain should be on play your cards right or lets pretend we have no brain today programme.
Macca was pretty dam cool though I must admit.

Dan the Man - even though you did not answer my message to you the other day - I'll forgive you! As for first dates - I would say NEVER go to the movies! How on earth can you get to know someone sitting watching a film? Having said that, it's 34 years since I had a first date. The rules may have changed a little!!

DtM - to be honest, I think going to the cinema on a first date is a big no-no in itself. You should be chatting and getting to know each other, not huddling in a darkened room. Well, that's my opinion anyway.
PP - how right you are about Amy! Wasn't she fabulous? Not so keen on Macca meself but you're spot on about Fearne Cotton - so annoying!

Hey hey dear PP don't knock our Fern! She may be a terrible TV presenter but her Sunday night slot on Radio 1 has stopped me going insane on many a drive home from Manchester. I bought a couple of little potted ferns the other week and the husband has requested that they be named Cotton and Britton. Sigh.
Missed most of last night's show - got a new washing machine installed (along with a discovery of more very dodgy wiring in the cottage) and, due to the kitchen surfaces being covered in all the junk that's normally above the washing machine, we gave up on cooking and went on a fish and chip hunt :) mmmm And don't have a TV but there's good pics in the papers today. Great one of Amy W. Might see what's available on tinterweb.
Did anyone see the moon last night? Anyone take any pictures? I was gutted - my body actually woke up at 3am and I went in search of a window, only to see - CLOUDS.
I was SO disappointed.
I'm rubbish at keeping secrets. I can keep other peoples' secrets, I'm good at that, but keeping my own secrets - nah. I'm hopeless... Good luck Chris, at keeping it under wraps until such time as you're allowed to tell us!

Dan-t-M - gosh, really don't know but I'd love to hear your side as I have to start doing dating myself again soon (ish) and I'm ten years older than you....
It is such a scarey thought....

So busy here today. We are off for a 'not very dirty weekend' (kids in tow!) so have lots to get ready. We are off tomorrow after work so have to do everything today.
A friend is coming round to feed the rabbit, cat, dog, parrot and rat. Yes rat! So me being stupidly house proud am doing lots of housework too.
Chris, when you look at some of the people that did attend the BRITS last night, I would take it as a compliment that you were not there too.

Anyway, Listen Chris, I need a favour from someone with `clout` at the ´óÏó´«Ã½. almost 10 years ago myself, the wife, and our 9-year-old daughter drove `Overland` in an old `van from UK to Australia, Europe, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan India etc. all because we saw a ´óÏó´«Ã½/Discovery Documentry by, and starring Simon Dring, ex- ´óÏó´«Ã½ reporter, A. whatever happened to the programme?, its never been repeated and is not on Video or Disc, and, B. Whatever happened to Simon? we have always wanted to say "Thanks".
