ENTRY NO.351.
Here's the strangest thing, well not the strangest thing but...
...I've acquired a new thing. I have, for the last three days, started to get to the gym half an hour early so i can graba cup of tea from the cafe and sit in my car for half an hour, on my own, reading the paper and just generally having a quiet few moments.
I did it again today and I loved it. I think I'm going to be doing it a lot. I've identified the perfect spot on the arm rest to balance my cuppa.
Can't wait for Monday's moment.
In the meantime, tea and anything chocolate rocks, good luck to all in the London marathon and God Bless all of you who are in the good guys gang.
See you after the weekend, have a blast, you never know.....

ARF day greetings ..... it's been a particularly "long" week. I wish I could find the optimum comfy position for my elbow on this desk. I've only had it - the desk - for 14 years and I still can't find a "soft" bit to rest on.
Ms Love - fingers crossed for the 'puter ..... and please don't call me "etc" I'm attempting to be gay.
A good weekend to all.

Chris, you are such a sweetie. Could you do something about this abysmal blog? We've all got so much to say and they won't let us!!!!

Chris,
It is the little things isn't it. Couldn't agree with you more re tea break etc.
In the morning, the only sunny spot outside at my house is the front garden (which is tiny in size)....BUT....BUT.......every front door has a door step and THAT is where I love to sit drinking my tea. Spring, summer, winter or ......when it's sunny, that is where I am....loving it. I have a few pots with beautiful plants therein that surround me and although the view opposite is not exactly wonderful it doesn't matter - because what's around me with the sun shining on me is just grand.
Mange tout.

And what I wanted to say was: mice have not been seen for days. Thank you god.
Charities: There are lots of them around. Mine is one of them. A daycentre for very frail, older people and people with Dementia. Their carers/partners/daughters/sons so need time for themselves. We run with very little money and have to fundraise all the time. Someone like you donating anything (even your desk detritus) makes such a difference. We then feel that people appreciate what we are doing. Help the Aged, by the way, are such a good charity.
My charity of choice is Save the Children. Excellent.

Is it working today?
Hi CtD, tried to post yesterday and gave up! Didn't do the hill in Greenwich Park but we plan to next time and visit the museum too.
Anne G, my mum and dad run a charity so I totally appreciate the amount of hard work that goes into it.
Candles, forgot to mention that I don't have a website for my cards. I wouldn't know where to start to be honest. I really do need to sell some so I had better do something! Thanks for the interest.
Hope you are all having a good weekend,
Love

Can I just say I love hearing Tom Jones, Delilah, every friday! It somehow get Friday off to a good start.
The second day at work (friday) went really well. Its so nice and natural to get back to work again and it only feels like two minutes since I was at work when infact its three years! The only problem is my knees really don't seem to like it! Well they will have to get used to it!
Now off to the fella's to watch Sweeney Todd which wads delivered from America yesterday, thank goodness our DVD plays US Films!!!
Have a great weekend people. Love Missy xx
PS can we please just have some spring like weather now!
Sounds like complete bliss :) You've made me go make my 5th cuppa of the night and it suddenly feel so much better! So nice to have a break from being a mummy! Roll on 8am and hometime!! (Won't be having a cuppa in the car though - I'll fall asleep!)
'I think I'm going to be doing it a lot'
Right. That's what they all say. Normally in January. The first time will be the last I bet. Well I would bet if it wasn't against ´óÏó´«Ã½ rules....
Can't you see my walls are crumbling?
Thank you, Adam.
Not sure where to go now. Feeling low and seeking direction.
MS. I hope you've found your river.
Peace & love

Went out to get a new radio one and all
It's all so confusing. I said I don't care what it does as long as it can pick up Radio2.
Anyway got this fantabulous one with Marshall speakers.
I really must apologise for my attempts of getting on ARF. But I hope the reasearcher had a laugh. I sure she might remember the Jane Goody impersonater who was going down to the local social for a disco and then car booting on Saturday.
Oh dear, what people will do to get a record played.
Off to buy some tyre shoes, they are just great.
My fave cup of tea is after work with a cigarette and the newspaper and Wrightie on in the background while I wait for Mr P to get home.
Fell off the radar this weekend due to Mr P's homecoming so missed the ARF choice. What was it?
Happy Mondays one and all.

MfR - I'm sorry you are feeling low and directionless. You need to reconnect with your life, maybe ... it's the same situation I am finding myself in, so your voice is resonating with my head.
I think some time away from your job but in a very different environment to your usual may be productive. Are you able to take time off work for a holiday and then go to a yoga retreat, or perhaps a walking holiday somewhere you've never been, tell no-one (save your wife!) of where you are and leave all contact points at home, eg phones laptops, etc...
Forgive me if this is completely irrelevant or too prying/nosey, but I have concern for you at the moment.

I like it when you do something out of your routine and it makes you happy! I have started to walk to work, it was mainly to save petrol money, but it feels great, i get time to really think about thinks and set my mood for the day!
Gaby that sounded really peaceful!
