I have a Blackbury (I nick name it the Rasberry due to the noise I make at it when I get an e-mail from work). I too have sausage fingers so I use a small Stencil (you know like a pen without the nib)

Oh the mighty blueberries / raspberries / strawberries as they are known in this office - watching my boss (not the most tech savvy guy in the world - by his own addmission) try to handle the ickle tiny buttons with his big, big hands is hilarious, and usually produces a stream of norty words from him!!!

I USED to have a garage...but it went in the divorce..along with the useless stuff in it - and by that i mean my ex husband!

Just had one of those `we have exciting news re your lottery ticket` emails...shaking hands etc as logging in to find... a tenner, but not to be sniffed at in this climate!

Now the `pool as i believe its known...have never been to the Liver OR Black version but have done the Hartle one..

I can feel a bloggers meet in Liverpool coming on!

And whoever said re m`ways - the company i work for has several shops around the Manchester/Warrington/Stockport area - and EVERY time i visit..i get lost. Guaranteed. Have just learnt to add half an hour onto my journey time now!

Getting me all nostalgic for my childhood now. Chester Zoo is a BIG must for anyone. Nana Rose used to take me often when I was little. My Aunty took me once in her Bubble car! Got photo's somewhere, must dig them out.

Oh and feeding the swans on the river.

Later on when we moved South, I spent may a summer holybobs with Aunt & Unc in Neston.......sweet memories.....speshly easting pots of shrimp and prawns sat on the wall at Parkgate!

have I missed much these last days, been busy so havent been able to blog.

As someone who lives in Liverpool I would recommend the albert dock, the cavern quarter, a trip on the ferry across the mersey. There are many, many more but dont have time to go through them all.

If you go to Knowsley, dont take the safe option to bypass the monkeys or lions, go for the other option where you drive through the lions and watch the monkeys climb on your car, its so good.

Cute photo of the little one, my how he is growing. Nice garage too, it's good to know that you actually keep cars in yours, cause where I live no one does and it's like a car park! I have my own numbered space, as I'm in a flat, but all spare bits of road and kurbs are taken up by parked cars!

I loved Brookside and I do a mean scouse accent, so I'd love to go visit sometime. Drove past the sign post on my way to Lancs the other day.

Some great suggestions for Liddypool, Manchester & Chester. As am married to a 'plastic scouser' - (someone from the Wirral - on the other bank of the Mersey that's not Liverpool)

Can empathise with you Deev - when we first met he always used to say for anywhere that was crowded 'It's like Birkenhead Market in here' Still love the way he says Birkenhead after ? ? years. A s a lady of a certain age I don't have to revel all. Probably better if I don't !

I live in a village a few miles from Chester and can vouch for it's cuteness. Lots of lovely Tudor buildings (some original and many Victorian copies) a lovely river to walk alongside, the most complete set of Roman Walls in Europe than you can still walk around. Also a few nice shops in which to browse/spend. How about a North West meet in Chester??

Janet - marvellous idea. You and I can be tour guides. Where do we start and where do we stop? So much choice.

When we went to Knowsley, we opted out of the monkey part this time, as we nearly lost our wipers the first time, and others were losing wing mirrors, door handles, top brake LCD lights and all sorts. Could get kinda expensive!

The lions are fantastic though (didn't even know you could by-pass them, or why you would want to) and they had about six cubs when we were there the other week, so cute!
