Spring has most definitely arrived as the sheep farmer has put his sheep and lambs in the fields just next to us and they are bouncing all over the place. Pretty colourful too. The farmer was telling me about this new food he is trialling which naturally colours the wool - something to do with the oils in it which help with skin and coat condition. It is only faint, but you can see blue, green and yellow tinges throughout the flock. Weird, but nice.

I had my mothers day present early, seeing as I have only got furry babies, should I have been surprised to see a dead field mouse in my lounge? Cats were thanked, mouse put in the green bin - yuck!

I've not been able to catch up yet, been on a mad dash around the country this week - Sutton Coldfield, Weston-Super-Mare, Barnstaple & Exeter. Now leaving to travel back home to Norfolk for the weekend.

MWa - we have the colour sheep here too. You see them from the M8 when you are travelling between Glasgow and Edinburgh - very colourful. I love seeing all the wee lambs in the fields.

Well thank crunchie it's Friday. I was asleep by 11pm and awake at 1.05am - just couldn't get back to sleep. Today will be interesting - month end, quarter end, vat return etc etc......

MtF - Pleased you and Noggin are getting along nicely. I'm due to change my car soon - thinking of changing to a different make/model so off to test drive the first choice tonight.

Happy birthday Christoph and have a good two weeks off ........ we'll miss you!

Sezza - from yesterday, we're moving to a 2-bed ground floor flat with a garden, whereas we're leaving a 3-bed flat with a dining room and two loos. We'll have slightly less living space but we've got a large cellar for storage, so we're not having to squeeze everything in. We're also gaining a kitchen/diner which we haven't got at the moment, so we don't feel as if we're losing out in any way. Definitely can't wait to be able to get out into the garden.

'Im indoors was out by 5am today so I didn't see him. Now, who can I find to pinch and punch as it's the first of the month ....... any offers (or suggestions!!!!)?

I have a statue of one of the most well known Mother's worldwide (I think I am safe to say that), holding her newborn son. The statue never changes, yet, everytime I look at her I notice something different. This time i think she was wearing a little more blusher than normal.

Rob Brydon on Ken Bruce !! We have the radio on - only on a Friday here @ work. I defintely think it is Rob Brydon - how can he keep the impression going for over two hours. What a star.

Hi everyone from a wet and windy Ayrshire,

Have just been lurking recently as I didn't really have anything interesting to say, but I have been enjoying the posts (most of them anyway).

Nothing much on this weekend, apart from tonight when I am going to a friend's house for a "photo party", where you take along a photo and you can get it made into a poster etc., that's all I need, especially as they look quite expensive, never mind, I'll just blend into the background and drink wine.

Isn't it typical that when I'm able to listen to Chris in real time, he's on holiday for the 2 weeks that I'm home - but enjoy yourself Chris, going anywhere nice?
