I've just been told about something that's going to happen at the boys school and I'm really excited but I'm not meant to tell anyone - well, no one to do with the school until it's announced officially!

If I say it is about someone who is going to come to the school, give talks to the kids and to the parents - who i think will be even more excited than the kids and it's been organised by the maths dept, can you guess who's coming?

No rain today! I can see clearly now the rain has gone.

You certainly do need such a lot of patience on the roads Chris but as someone who has suffered a heart attack I can report that stress is not the only cause (in my case it was a lung illness that caused it). By the way why on earth did we have a number to call at end of Corrie last night because a fictional character had a heart attack? We get all kinds of helpline numbers following all the soaps, are they mad and does anyone actually call these numbers? "Oh please help me I'm suffering from shock as Audrey has had a heart attack".

Right, I'll get off my soapbox now!

Sezza- Could it be Johnny Ball, the maths expert. Me & Bingo (and some others) have met him and had lunch with him (long story). Also there was Denis Law. It was fun!

Just before I go - Sezza, has Gibbs discovered his reflection yet? Randall keeps seeing himself in the patio windows and now thinks there's another one of him living in the dining room. We've just been outside for a wee and he was nose to nose with the patio window, barking at himself ...... dufus dog!

Right, I'm going to make a conscious effort NOT to put my laptop on at all over the weekend if I can help it (well, maybe Sunday afternoon ....), so I'll say have a great weekend to you all, and here's hoping we don't all contract Trenchfoot by Monday.

Deevs, Gibbs stands and looks out as if to say Who is that dog out there!! Mind you, he was funny at puppy playschool last night. There were 3 other puppies there - all bigger than him. While they were on leads he was all barky and loud and let's play. Once we took the leads of he was more No, I'll just watch those big dogs from behind your legs Mum!!

Evening each from sunny Fife

Missed Matt this morning by about 5 minutes. And Chris, tell me about traffic chaos!! The building of the new bridge has brought about thoosands of traffic cones, 40 mph average speed cameras, queues and more queues in the morning. When you hear the traffic report about the M90, that's the road to the bridge - and I'm usually on it!

Anyway, had lovely day with 1yr old and afternoon with him and his brother the 6yr old. We sat in the garden in the sun, well I did and the boys grubbed about with snails, worms etc. What is it with boys?

Heard a little bit of Matt Le Blanc this morning, his voice was a whole lot deeper than when he was Joey! I used to love Friends and would sit down religiously every Friday to watch it. I can't believe it's been 18 years since it started.

Did anyone else see Bill Bailey on The One Show? I had no idea he was such a talented keyboard player!

Looking forward to 3pm tomorrow, at which time I will have finished work for 11 days holiday. Planning a few days out, a few jobs around my flat, culminating in a trip to Loch Ness for my Birthday, which is on the last day of my holiday.

Nothing to report, going to be another wet and windy couple of days here, so I will be hunkering down and catching up with some DVDs, GD has been buying a few recylced ones for £1 and one is the Marilyn one so will be giving that a go.

Good day everyone,

So annoyed that I didn't get to hear MLB on the radio yesterday, no chance of listen again with our dial-up internet connection - bums as Annie would say.

I will have missed you by ages Chrissie, but I hope you and Mary have a lovely afternoon and I am with you on the head massage thing, I used to sit there cringing every time until I plucked up the courage to tell my hairdresser I hated it!

Nothing to report from here, just popped on whilst waiting for my Mum to appear, normally she spends Saturdays with her sisiter (my aunt), but she's in Dubai just now visiting her daughter (my cousin who lives there), so she's coming over and we'll take the dogs a walk then have coffee. Dry and very windy here, 3 loads of washing, dried, ironed and put away before lunchtime, Ash ridden and housework done. This evening we are going to our favourite sit-in chippy for dinner with Mum, Dad and my Brother so that should be yummy!

The cats are going stir crazy as we have BT guys here to put up new poles and my biggest fear is the cats going into their vans or lorries and disappearing, never to be seen again, so I have shut them in and they hate it.

It says that people who have "south" tickets will be able to swap for "north" tickets on Mon/tue next week, which I guess means that if people do that there will be some more south tickets available!!!

I'm sticking with what I've got though.

And the dates are confirmed as 8/9th September

The rain continues to persistently fall down here!!! Only had to nip out for a paper and have spent the rest of the day snuggled under a blanket on the sofa (after the chores) also managed to sneek in a quick nap :)
