DomThis is my second blog and i'm still not in bloody Germany. Actually - i'm just excited about the World Cup so that's taking my mind off it. Seen every game apart from the Mexico match so far...and i'm loving it.
Argentina are looking pretty good. May be worth a punt?

The weather's been great in the UK - 49 degrees in case anyone from Germany is reading this.

As i am still in the UK some people may find the need to send presents in to show how sorry they are that i'm not with Chris and co in Germany. Can i just plead with you not to do this - i really don't want your Cakes, expensive gadgets or Cash. It would be awful if lots of you did this - on a daily basis - over the next few weeks - daily.

So - that said - i'm having a lovely time with the sunshine and the football. Blog 2 is complete. Blog 3 will be arriving soon-ish.

Looking forward to the next England game on Thursday.

Again - no presents. Thanks a billion.

Dom, me and my friends think its tertible that you have to stay here in the uk when the others are "working" in Germany. why not start a campaigne, get everyone of the shows listeners to send in a £1 and you will soon be out in Germany and possibly in better accom than all the others, i'm sure you would get thousands in day one of the campaigne. After the outcry follwing the loss of yesterday's weather can i recommend a new feature which may go some way to compensate for the loss felt by billions of listeners?

My idea is 'really old weather'. As we all know you read the news off of Ceefax so this would be quite easy as on page 407 it has some really old weather.

For example today it says that it was 31 degrees on June 11th 1970 and it rained for 20 minutes in Pershore. So all you need to do is read it. Simple but also effective. I hope you take this suggestion on board - it could add a lot of listeners.
