Spreading the love
Monday late afternoon – Embrace have just played in the garden of our chalet and I missed it, as I was on the phone to London with Radio 1 business, while trying to watch the USA game. So far the team have been getting on pretty well, just a few tetchy moments mainly brought on by a lack of sleep. I do have to take issue with Rachel over Mark Chapman and myself spreading the hands of friendship with locals in Frankfurt - we were just spreading the love. Granted Mark videoing a Brazilian barmaid, may have been a bit forward.
Asa ,our security man, took us all out for a run, with sit ups, press ups, star jumps, piggy backs, wheel barrows this morning and to be honest I can hardly walk this evening. The whole team and Embrace are heading off into Ellwangen tonight for pizza, beer and the Italy / Ghana game, and then I’ve got to try and get the team into bed at a reasonable time. Embrace have decided to stay with us tonight in our rural idyll so they can be bright and breezy for tues show. They have done the single and a footballing surprise.

Loving the coverage and great to put faces behind the team. Just a few observations.
Rhys and Dom - I think you are both the same person with a different photo/identity to match your mood. When you are being 'Dom' you look like you would help German grannies across the road with their shopping. When you are being 'Rhys' you look like you would steal their shopping. Putting on a pair of shades and fake beard will not fool anyone. When you are being 'Dom' your photo says "Come and give me a cuddle". When you are being 'Rhys' your photo says "Come near me and I'll blow your legs off".
Chris - Anything going in the book that can go in the blog???? As the Daddy of the team who are you getting along with best/least? Does chappers smell - I don't know why - I just get the impression he does does have a whiff of stale biscuits/urine/booze/fags when you get close.
