Hello blog fans.

It’s been a while since I’ve blogged properly on here using words and all that. I must admit I prefer video blogs because in my opinion they’re more fun, but can accept that every now and then a written one is just as good.

I also haven’t been around very much lately as I’ve been trying to hold 2 full time jobs down with the second job in the form of being a hairdresser albeit it on ´óÏó´«Ã½3 for Children In Need.

As is often the case on these programmes related to ´óÏó´«Ã½ charity events like Children In Need and Comic Relief, Celebrity Scissorhands may look like an excuse to laugh at large ego’d personalities but there is of course a more serious undertone; raising money for UK based projects that will help disadvantaged children. The projects that Children In Need fund are not all large scale dramatic projects but are often small scale community based ones that actually make a difference but aren’t normally headline grabbing in the press.

I won’t get all worthy on you – but I defy you to read about the projects they fund, one more than likely not too far from your home and not feel compelled to donate some money.

As to the series itself. It’s now Ninia vs myself in the final Hair Cut Off which will happen on a stage in Camden in front of around 400 hairdressers – some of which are renowned around the world as being some of the best. I have to bluff my way through a cut that I’ve actually designed in front of these experts. If I perform better than Ninia, explain my cut in a better way and have a finished article that looks good then I’ll be the Celebrity Scissorhands Winner 2007 if not, I’ll be the runner up.

I won’t bore you guys with the daily blog of the last few days so if you want to read about how it goes in the last few days go to the official Scissorhands website or for the blog.

In the meantime if you want to see what this is all about watch ´óÏó´«Ã½3 tonight around 8 / 8:30. Or go to Scissorhands website to donate some money to Children In Need.
