Quick! Talk to me!
Hey blog fans
How are you today? When we recently noticed that comments on the blog have gone very quiet recently we asked around and discovered this is because you now have to sign in and have a log in with the 大象传媒 to be able to interact on the blogs. Most people haven't bothered. Well, we miss you!
I'm currently working on a few new blog ideas to enable the team to blog more often - but we want it to be a two way conversation. We post blogs and you reply with comments. In the future we could ask for questions you might have for guests, opinions to what you've read or heard on the show or just suggestions you might have for the team.
So lets start now... anyone want to me to say anything or ask anything to any of the boys from Boyzone coming in tomorrow? Log in to the blog and post as a comment and then I'll post back on here tomorrow with their answers!!! :)
Some other stuff, just to let you know is coming in on Friday and of course, I couldn't do a blog without reminding you of the Best Of video where you can SEE your favourite bits of the show as well as hear it for this week only! Unfortunately the video of me being shocked is in there. SO unfair!
Grey 'Ed Will got the video up LATE today - so find out how Chris deals with this tomorrow on the show.
I'm currently in playlist with some of the other people in Radio 1 who help decide what should and shouldn't get played on Radio 1. Currently listening to the new Flo Rida song - which I must admit is brilliant!
Anyway, better go and focus on the music. Chat to you soon
Aled
xx

I'd like to know if he will be doing more solo stuff after Boyzone because us fans have waited a long time for it?! Would love to see him in concert on his own again soon! Going to see Boyzone in Manchester though and can't wait!

I've just noticed that if you already have a bbc username for something else (e.g. Celebdaq) it still works :)

Or if not, why not just go to the logical extreme and block the whole Radio 1 website to non-UK IP addresses?
And the radio stream.
And the TV content.
Or would that not be viewed as sensible? Thought not.
Why not at least apply the 大象传媒's nonsensical and arbitrary rules with some degree of consistency?

I don't really have any questions for boyzone, but i would like to suggest something for video. Film the team coming in, getting ready for the show, and what they do behind the scenes etc, at half 5, 6am, and let us see what we don't normally get to see!
And, stream the Chris Moyles show on 大象传媒 three live!

It would be great if this can be put on you tube, as overseas fans would not miss out on your videos. Very frustrating. I am soooo desperate to see Dom's bald head!!

Anyway if you were to slip just a random unrelated question like "Milk or dark chocolate?" "Boxers or briefs" "Chunky or smooth peanut butter?" "Windows or Mac?" style question you would most probably be the best guy in the history of guys. I believe that position comes with a special hat.
Or you could do test them on their own trivia with the electric shock game.
Anyway whatever you do your plan for two way conversation has clearly worked. Maybe if you mention the comments section on the show more people would find their way here.

Q1/ Considering there not boys anymore do they find there band name a bit embarrasing now . Perhaps they would prefer Manzone or Goinggreyzone . You could ask them to pick there own new band name for a laugh aswell .
Q2/ If there was a boy band boxing match who would they definetly want to get in the ring with and who do they think would win ?
Kind regards ,
Neil from Redhill .

I took my daughter a few years ago to see Boyzone at Bournemouth, they were supported by a group called Westside - who later became Westlife.

If you get about a minute or so long interview then you should ask a really long winded and complex question so that they don't actually get any time to respond.
Otherwise test them on their algebra.

Why are videos from the celebrity lap available to overseas users but this weeks studio videos are not? I can understand television programs not being available to us. But videos recorded in the studio that are meant for the internet begin with?
Also, I didn't like having to register to comment but I can deal with that.

I understand why you think that, but unfortunately your argument doesn't stand up.
If non-licence fee payers should not have access to 大象传媒 content, then why can we still watch 大象传媒 TV, visit the web-site, view still photos, and even the YouTube videos, just not the ones formatted for iPlayer.
If the 大象传媒 truly believed what you are saying, no one could do any of the above.
Don't simply accept the BS the 大象传媒 forces down your throat on this issue, their (and by extension your) argument simply doesn't hold water.
