About Margo Hogg
My name is Margaret Anne Hogg, although I am known to most of my friends as Margo.I was born prematurely on Friday January 13th, 1950. I weighed one pound eleven ounces, and was considered in those days as a Miracle Baby.
I lay undiscovered under the blankets for four hours, as hospital staff were belatedly celebrating New-Years Eve.

About John McGuirk
I was born in Bootle in 1931, which makes me 75 years of age.The biggest influence on the life of people of my age was the beginning of the Second World War. I was eight years old when I was evacuated to Southport. After a couple of years there I ended up in Martin鈥檚 Camp in Chester. A purpose built camp for Liverpool and Bootle schoolchildren, split in two by way of religion, catholic on one side, protestant on the other. We were in the country, our parents could come to visit. One of our main activities was gardening growing turnips, potatoes, carrots, tomatoes as well as keeping chickens.
