    Even so, with my great expertise, my firefox seems to want to play mp3 through itunes....Grrr!

    When you are in the options list, make sure each file extension is only listed once. I found mp3 in there four times, and only the earliest one was to iplayer, the rest to windows media player. I changed the remaining one to wmplayer and it works now.

It will ask you if you want it as default browser, and if you say yes, it will load up whenever you go to a web link or call up thwe internet.     I downloaded and used Firefox at the time the Blog turned "blue". It sits beside IE and I can choose which I want to use. As far as I can see it has not had any effect on any other program including IE. I found it remarkably similar to IE and very easy to use.

    Started with 500 bytes of Sinclair and cut my teeth on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Basic and assembler, but that was a long time ago. Been Mozilla in one form or another for a decade or more. Better email handling, in my view as well.

    I can't imagine what you ever use IE for. Do you create web pages? I use Arachnophilia for that, though I'm sure there's more sophisticated stuff available. The modern software has totally lost sight of elegant solutions, being spoiled with effectively unlimited memory and processor speed.
