The gossip in me is excited to see the face/off between former hubby and wife James Cameron (Avatar) and Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker) in the Best Director category. The film fan thinks James will shade it. Actress? Carey Mulligan, a British star in the making if ever there was one in An Education and the Dude-like brilliance of Jeff Bridges in country and western drama Crazy Heart for Actor.
