Trailer Tuesday - Wall Street 2 & A Single Man
First up there's this one from what is possibly one of the worst named sequels ever, Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps. The sequel to Oliver Stone's 1987 film Wall Street, once again directed by him and starring Michael Basic Instinct Douglas and Shia Transformers LaBeouf.
Money Never Sleeps but it does occasionally nap, perhaps would be a better title? Seriously, this title is probably worse than Speed 2: Cruise Control (set on a cruise ship), Babe 2: Pig In The City (set in a city) or even Legally Blonde 2: Red White & Blonde. Ignoring it's awful title you can see it when it's out on the 21st April and you see the trailer .
The BAFTA nominated A Single Man comes out on the 12th Feb starring Colin Bridget Jones' Diary Firth, Julianne Hannibal Moore and Nicholas About A Boy Hoult in the directorial debut from uber designer Tom Ford. It's picked up a heap of award nominations already and there's a strong chance it'll get more later today when the Oscar noms are announced... talking of which we'll have them on this blog later today.
Back to the film, set in Los Angeles in 1962, at the height of the Cuban missile crisis, Colin plays a British college professor who is struggling to find meaning in his life after the death of his long term partner. It looks incredibly arty and beautiful, see for yourself by looking at the trailer .
