Questions from our studio audience

Tris Cotterill | 13:08 UK time, Thursday, 13 May 2010

Tonight is our last show of the series *sadface* but don't worry after a bit of a rest Russell and the team will be back for series three in the autumn, so watch this space!

We love hearing your questions for Russell so we decided to let our studio audience ask some of their own including which fellow Mock The Weeker would he eat first, any guesses?

Your stories for the final week!

Tris Cotterill | 17:22 UK time, Monday, 10 May 2010

So we have finally got to the last week of series two! It's been a busy last two months but I hope you've enjoyed the show so far? You lot have been amazing all series sending in stories you've seen and funny bits in the news so a big thanks from Russell and the whole Good News team to our virtual news crew (that's you!).

These are some of the best stories you have sent in from the past seven days.

From Ian
Ok, so everyone occasionally checks Facebook in the office or Tweets in a meeting but there are some things you probably shouldn't look at at work, especially if you are being filmed! Read the full story at

From Natasha Holland
My favourite thing about this story is the effort put in to make something purely because it's a bit funny. Check out the new 'tourist attraction' in Gloucestershire at

From MaxiTaxiWaxiWoo
This story is AMAZING! I have no idea if it's made up but sort of hope it is otherwise this woman doesn't really understand the human reproductive system. Read the full story at

Ok, so most of the time we joke about the news, sometimes we make the news! Check out a proud moment for team Good News at

Tris Cotterill | 16:29 UK time, Friday, 7 May 2010

Hope you all enjoyed show 7 last night and thanks to all of you who got 'Cleggy Weggy' into the trending topics on Twitter, personal highlight of the series for me! Remember that yesterday was not the last show in the series, we've got an extra special hour long version next week with some of the best bits plus loads of unseen stuff.

Thanks for sending in your questions to Russell through the series, this is him answering tracy_king, SaxySami and Jo Hall.

Your stories for show 7

Tris Cotterill | 16:33 UK time, Wednesday, 5 May 2010

Yesterday was our last day in the studio recording show number seven ready for Thursday. It was a bit weird filming for the last time this series (the past seven weeks have gone so fast!) but the show is looking great so you have a lot to look forward to! Also, just a reminder that next week's show is going to be an extra special version featuring some of the best bits from this series with tons of unseen material and it's an hour long!

As a bit of a sneak peak at this week's show this is Russell looking at some of the stories you have sent in from the past seven days.

Some of our favourite stories for week 7

Tris Cotterill | 16:22 UK time, Tuesday, 4 May 2010

Hope you all had a good bank holiday? While you were out in the sun (or more likely, the rain) Team Good News have been in the office all weekend getting ready for show 7.

Thanks for all your suggestions for stories, these are some of our favourites from the last 7 days.

From Jamie Rhymer
At Good News we are all about learning new things and from this story I learnt the amazing new word 'Arschbomben'. Read the full story about why a German 74 year old has been banned from a local swimming pool at

From Lex Prospicit
I think this story is really cool. A kid with liver cancer got to be a superhero for a day. Watch the clip at

From shariar33
Ok, is it too much to have two superhero stories in one day? No, of course not! This is a pretty funny way to be caught stealing. Read the full story at
