Is that too much sport in one day on ´óÏó´«Ã½ 1? The ´óÏó´«Ã½ had 124 complaints because of wall-to-wall sport last Saturday and they've apologised. Even though 15 million people were watching at the peak. The head of sport Roger Mosey's on the programme this morning, so we'll hear what he has to say.
Its about time rugby got the same amount of coverage as football. I bet no one would bat an eyelid if this had been the World Cup or Euro Championships. And no doubt we will have to sit through mindlessly boring and insignifacant Euro games this Summer with NO British teams involved at all.
At least all the British nations were represented on Saturday.
I loved watching the rugby at the weekend. Maybe the third match could have been on ´óÏó´«Ã½2 but PLEASE don't stop showing the six nations!
I don't subscribe to SKY so I really look forward to the few top quality sporting events the ´óÏó´«Ã½ still shows.

The ´óÏó´«Ã½ shows wall-to-wall garbage drama, soaps and docu-soaps every evening for 4 hours.
The ´óÏó´«Ã½ shows wall-to-wall antiques and house price shows every weekday for 4 hours.
The idiots that run the ´óÏó´«Ã½ do not feel the need to apologise each week for the appalling, wall-to–wall, dumbed-down, ratings chasing, commercial TV type ´óÏó´«Ã½1 format so why are they apologising for showing wall-to-wall sport on a Saturday?
The don’t feel the need to apologise each week to the 10s of millions of license feeing sports fans for not showing them ANY live sport only wall-to-wall bad dramas, soaps and reality TV so why apologise for actually showing sport?
They don’t feel the need to apologise for THE ONE SHOW (day time TV at 7pm) or MISTRESSES (predictable ratings chasing nonsense) so why apologise for showing live sport?
What on earth is going on???
The reason ´óÏó´«Ã½ TV is rank-rotten has nothing to do with showing sport it is because of all the other afore-mentioned guff!!

I would love to hear a phone in about how the main channels choose their scheduling priorities. For instance I loved the rugby coverage last weekend as I absolutely hate the likes of the celebrity shows and talent contests on both ´óÏó´«Ã½ and ITV on Saturday evenings.
However I get very annoyed when two excellent dramas are scheduled aginst against each other such as on Sunday the last four episodes of The Last Enemy on ´óÏó´«Ã½ are scheduled against Lewis on ITV. I don't want to have to record stuff as I then have to fit it around other things but would be glad if these excellent dramas could be scheduled so that we had the chance to watch them all.

Personally i can't stand egg chasing so i read a book whilst waiting for the footy to start on Sky .

"its on ´óÏó´«Ã½1 because thats the most popular channel" I would have thought that anyone who wanted to watch Rugby should it be scheduled on BEEB 2 would be able to find it.
