Some Friday afternoon entertainment
- 26 May 06, 04:20 PM
LONDON - I’m usually the last to know about stuff so apologies if you have seen this before but hats off to these guys at Manchester Metropolitan University for this on the Nike football ad.
Did they really fail all their exams as a result? Anyone know any more about them? Perhaps they should enter our very own ? Guys - get in touch!
Anyway, thanks for letting me know about your blogs – keep ‘em coming. I’m adding the best to our blog roll.
It’s not about the World Cup, or even sport, or anything really so why did make me giggle?
If you're going to Germany you may want to get in touch with this merry band of bloggers...
Sadly, we've had to turn down volunteers to join our camper van crew, Fletch and Ricco.
But you can hanging out in a free flat in Berlin apparently...
There is also a slightly bizarre ‘Adopt-a-German’ scheme run by Puma that Mspoke has been writing about on his .
This is pretty authoritative.
Though if you want a view from any of the other 31 teams competing, this is the best out there that I can find.
will apparently be a good place to get a US take on the World Cup – which is being broadcast live stateside by ABC and ESPN I'm told.
Lastly, for a bit of Friday afternoon fun, there’s a decent game linked off the very funny .
Or why not relive some classic World Cup matches and then in a poll we're running on our video archive.
Or if you’re an Arsenal fan you may want to that won them league title 17 years ago today..
That's all from me,

Hi Claire...any chance of finding a home for world cup podcasts? As well as, ahem, my own (https://soccershout.com), I'd heartily recommend the Beautiful Game podcast (https://beautifulgamepodcast.blogspot.com).

Hi Claire:
I would like to say that Univision [the US Latin TV and Radio Network] will be broadcasting the World Cup in Spanish. I myself will be in this blog [as well as listening to the ´óÏó´«Ã½ and DW] for my football games.
Best Wishes from a Football Fan in Miami Florida

really excited for the world cup over here in montreal canada. last night over many a pint we were finalizing the details on where we are going to watch the matches. all matches are on tsn and rogers sportsnet with english commentators. we are good group of ex pats here and would love nothing more than for england to put an end to the bloody parades that we have to suffer whenever portugal or brazil knock us out.
come on england. do it for the country and do it to end the parades

I'm going to recommend site. It's um, oh yes, mine. But if you wanted to add it, I'd be very flattered.
Plus I feel there's a dearth of blogs that have covered the tricky (or sticky) subject of sticker swapping...

As a Scotland fan with no-one to support at the World Cup, I've decided to support everyone, even England!
I'll be finding venues to watch each team with their fans in London, starting with Costa Rica (even though there's only 100 Costa Ricans in Britain).
I would be very grateful if you could add my blog - - to your links.
Thanks!
