Programme One
Lawrence Camley, author of The Soul Of Time, was Alan's first guest. He'd never won the Nobel Prize for Literature but he did know the Capital of Kenya which impressed Alan very much. It's Nairobi by the way.
Ally Tennant, a leading figure in the Women鈥檚 Movement, was on next. She had devised a sort of psycho-analytical procedure for couples with sex problems. This involved Birthing, Dialoguing and Pledging. Alan wisely asked, 'Is that good therapy or barmy old kack'?
Adam Wells was the final guest. He was Carnaby Street鈥檚 Mr Boutique 1969 and the man behind the vegetable drink, Vegina. His high street chain store had this slogan: No Tree Has Died - No Child Has Cried - To Make The Product - That You Have Buyed. After rigorous questioning about his orgy-attending past, Alan discovered Wells was firing blanks.
