A cunning vampire mercenary, and a snappy dresser, Mr Trick arrived in Sunnydale in the company of the powerful, ancient vampire Kakistos, immediately attacking and devouring a clerk at a fast food restaurant.
When the Slayer thwarted Kakistos’ plans, Trick fled, and soon found himself in
the employ of Mayor Wilkins. His first task was to organise “Slayerfest 98”,
an event which had Faith and Buffy as the intended prey in an organised
hunt, (in Homecoming). Trick also summoned Ethan Rayne back to Sunnydale,
to carry out a plan to regress the town’s population to their childhood
using drugged chocolate, (in 'Band Candy').
Trick was staked by Faith in 'Consequences', to prevent the vampire from
biting Buffy: her last decent act before taking Trick’s place at the Mayor’s
side.
