Like Dorothy, Bronte is a small-town girl determined to make her own way in life.
Bronte lives with her mum and sister, and pet dog William, in Cheshire. Her Aunt has always been a big support for Bronte because she was trained in classical singing and always encouraged her to follow her dreams. She used to sing songs from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and idolised Truly Scrumptious.
Bronte has been volunteering as an Assistant Drama Teacher at her old drama school for a few years, and in Summer 2009 she had a lead role in Youth Music Theatre's UK production of A Winter's Tale which was performed at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford. Through this she gained her Grade 8 Group Musical Theatre with Distinction.
She describes herself as "small, over-excited, wacky, a perfectionist, determined, hardworking, loyal, honest and friendly" - and she learnt to speak fluent Welsh in eight weeks when she was seven!
Bronte performs KT Tunstall's Suddenly I See. She has had good comments from the panel up until now but can she do enough this week to avoid the sing off?
The Dorothys got together this week for The Wizard of Oz classic, Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead, Judy Garland's Get Happy, Can't Stop The Beat from Hairspray and a mash up of Money and Madonna's Material Girl.
Bronte and Lauren are the two girls with the least votes and sing What I Did For Love. It's not enough to impress The Lord and when the result is announced it's Lauren who's saved and Bronte says her goodbye and sings Over The Rainbow for one last time.
Bronte sings Bonnie Raitt's I Can't Make You Love Me If You Don't in a bid to impress the public and the panel.
Having won the Dorothy mission she chose Amy, Emilie and Jessica to perform an extra song. Watch their farm girl version of the Girls Aloud classic, Love Machine. All the Dorothys came together for Merry Old Land of Oz and a mash up of Anything You Can Do and Broken Heels.
We get to meet the final 20 Dorothys and watch them perform Follow the Yellow Brick Road and We're Off To See The Wizard. Bronte, Katie, Lauren and Claire Harbourne perform Duffy's Rain On Your Parade as their first number and Legally Blonde from the musical of the same name, for their second performance.
Selected to be in the final 20 Dorothys from .
