To the coast of Spain for this 大象传媒 Philharmonic concert, as the musicians travel to Alicante for the third concert of their tour.

We first hear an Englishman鈥檚 portrait of the Italian rascal Scapino, in William Walton鈥檚 comedy overture. Internationally-renowned Julia Fischer performs one of the most popular of all works for violin, Mendelssohn鈥檚 Violin Concerto. And a monumental work, the first of Mahler鈥檚 symphonies, is bound to mesmerise the audience from its very opening.
