Mixed spice recipes
The 'mixed spice' of British cookery is primarily used in sweet baking and is a fragrant reminder of Christmas recipes. Very similar to France's sweet quatre-épices, it typically incorporates cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves or allspice.
