Lance Corporal Alexander Barr, 193 Field Ambulance RASC

TWO CROSSES

The German emblem is the crooked cross,
A choice that leads to misery and loss;
Their leaders leagued themselves to all that鈥檚 evil,
Their staunchest ally seems to be the devil.

They persecute the Jews, that holy race,
Their Fuehrer is supreme, God has no place;
But let them mark these words, and mark them well,
A place awaits their Fuehrer, deep in Hell.

To Christ鈥檚 true Cross, the British people cling,
鈥淥nward Christian Soldiers鈥 hear them sing,
Our Army, roused by such a battle cry,
Will fight until they conquer, or they die.

Our victory is sure, our cause is right,
The Nazi tyrants tremble at our might,
The Cross of Christ will triumph over all,
The crooked cross will totter to its fall.

漏 L/Cpl. Alexander Barr. 193 Fld.Amb. R.A.S.C.
