I finished my school days at a small school St.Michael's & All Angels this was located in Wyndham road, Camberwell, London aged 14
Over four years passed, I was now in the army passing through a transit camp in Germany, my attention was drawn to the young infantry soldier sitting directly opposite me, immediate recognition from the two of us, we had been in the same class at school all those years ago, how amazing this
was,I can't recall his name, but we did exchange our various adventures, before wishing each other good luck! and going on our respective ways, I often wonder if fate was kind to him and he survived the war.
This was a strange "Brief Encounter" indeed.
