What do you remember about food during the war?
Well, during the war I was really lucky because we lived in Australia. In Australia we were not really aware that the war was going on as far as food went. Australia grows a lot of it's own food. In the garden of the house where we lived we grew pineapples and passion fruits.There was one thing that there was a shortage of and that was sweets and chocolate.They were not rationed, as they were in England, so they were very difficult to find. We did not have many sweets during the war.
