I am 59 years old. About 10 years ago I decided after years of doubt to try and find out about my backround. I asked my mother and stepfather about my early years and found out that my natural father was an American GI from San Francisco.
At the time my mother was only 15 years old and she was sent away to Wolverhampton to have me. My GI father kept going round to her home to try to find out how she was going on and about me being born. He was told in so many words he was not welcome and to keep away. My mother was later told, he was killed in action in the invasion of France.
Five years later my mother married and I was adopted by my new stepfather. I have tried all ways to try to find out about my natural dad but to no avail.
PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN.
