My dad, Sid Bioletti, in Lodève, Southern France June 1947 — sent to his mum "2 of the lads & myself. Left to right Bill, Geordie & Myself."
My dad, Sid Bioletti, enjoying the sunshine with 2 airmen from his unit. Unfortunately we have no details of the men's surnames. My dad spent 6 weeks in Lodève,as his 3.5 years RAF service drew to an end. He particularly remembered playing his ukulele and his George Formby repetoire during his time at Lodève.
My dad was de-mobbed on Armistice day, 11 November 1947 and finally discharged 5 January 1948.
