My Special Card
Marsh was stationed on the Isle of Wight, and they thought something was happening; they didn’t know but they had a gut feeling that something was going on. He got a card and he sent it me, and I received it when he was landing in Normandy on the beaches- on D-Day:
‘Though life may take us to and fro
We’re in God’s care, for this we know
Love spans all time and brings to mind
The happy hours we’ve spent
I find through visions bright, each memory’s clear
To lead us on and keep us near
For though a while the distance parts
Love binds forever faithful hearts’
