We were clueless when evacuated to the country because we鈥檇 never been there before. We all went out to a park in Enniskillen and I think we must have eaten the Laburnum Tree with its little peas. They鈥檙e poisonous; the pods are like pea pods and they鈥檙e poison. The doctor had to come out and our guardian came to me. Of course we were frightened to tell her what we鈥檇 done. She said 鈥淧lease tell me what you had?鈥 I had to explain to her, we were all very sick. 鈥淭ownies!鈥 was all the doctor said.
