The back of RAF form 656 shows damage or defects, repairs, modifications and replacements and inspections and overhauls.
on 27th July, the rear driving shaft was found to be loose - 2 bolts worn through. The wipers were not working, the steering column was loose. There was a problem with the trailer lights as well. Frank corrected all the defects himself as well as carrying out inspections every 500 miles and overhauls at 2000 miles, all recorded on the form.
